Preacher

Sympa ce choix poster de la saison 1 de Preacher!!
Car tant qu'à adapter les comics de cette "célèbre" franchise, je trouve ce clin d'œil sympatoche.
Bon, on l'attendait tous (ou quasi) cette adaptation de l'œuvre de Garth Ennis.
Si vous n'avez jamais lu Preacher à 40 ans, vous avez raté votre vie !!!
Mais vous pouvez encore vous rattraper !

Est ce que je veux dire par là que la série TV est naze ?
Nan nan nan nan ! J'ai pas dis ça non plus mais je vous avouerez que j'ai été laaaaaaaaaaargement moins embarqué par l'histoire que dans sa version BD.
Alors oui, c'est édulcoré mais ça reste de très bonne tenue ! Les acteurs sont quasi tous "charismatiques", le cast est bien foutu les potes !
Mais moi je me suis ennuyé, un peu parfois, beaucoup parfois et jamais d'autres fois...
Je suis mitigé mais bon, je ne peux m'empêcher de penser que je m'attendais à mieux tout en sachant que cela aurait impossible toutefois... L'œuvre originale est bien bien bien bien trash et ne conviendrait pas à tous , encore moins en version TV.
Je regarderai la saison 2 tout de même car j'ai juste mon regard trop biaisé et j'ai du mal à m'en séparer....
En tout cas j'en profite pour faire mon hommage onaniste à Steve Dillon, qui vient de nous quitter et qui illustrait ces comics (et Punisher aussi)

It could have been the end of any one of a thousand nights. It’s not a bad last memory to have. Steve was best man at my wedding and my good and dear friend. I think he probably taught me more about what that word means than anyone else.

I drank with Steve Dillon from Dublin to Belfast, from London to Glasgow, from San Francisco to New York City. I have not one single complaint. Cheers, mate.

Une saison 2 qui n'égalera toujours pas la puissance des comics mais qui se laisse bien regarder !!
Les passages "enfer" m'auront plus enjoué, avec le tonton adolf
